The patent pending ZAGGmate could be about the best looking iPad keyboard/case we’ve seen to date. Made from aircraft aluminum with a bead-blasted, anodized finish the look and feel of ZAGGmate comes close to that of the iPad itself turning the thing into a close cousin of one of the new airbooks. The keyboard resembles a netbook keyboard with a standard QWERTY layout and some iPad specific shortcut keys. Connection is simple – just connect and your iPad will ask you if you want to pair with the ZAGGmate, prompting you to enter a code on the keyboard and press enter. In addition the ZAGGmatet also works on the iPhone and iPod touch (running iOS 4.0 or later) as well as all bluetooth-ready computers. To put the iPad in the ZAGGMate you simply put it screen first into the keyboard portion and it locks in. The simple yet innovative hinge provides viewing and typing angles in both portrait and landscape mode.
